Went great, thanks for asking. Unlike Thanksgiving when my MIL chocked and passed out, we got through the holiday meal without calling 911!!
It was fun, Wife & Daughter were both excited about their gifts. SAM got the Gisselle trigger he asked for to install in my scoped AR
Are you going to Scype with your grandsons later today?? Bummer having them so far away at Christmas.
That sounds fantastic. Glad you all had a great time. Congrats on the new unpronounceable trigger. How long before install?
We have to have a meal with MIL at the nursing home later, as soon as we are finished the trigger is going in. 2 stage, 4 1/2 pound pull trigger system. It won't take 10 minutes to install.
I'll probably do a deep cleaning on my lower, take everything apart and wipe it down, then install the trigger when put it back together. That AR has at least 2500-3000 rounds through it, it's due for a deep clean.

Sounds like a fun, relaxing way to spend the day.
I forgot that you are not a Rifle guy. The AR trigger & hammer are just held in by 2 pins. You just drive out the old pins with a punch, remove the hammer & trigger, then reinstall. Really, it just takes a few minutes,

Plus, my oldest daughter and her somewhat liberal BF is coming over this afternoon late. Might have the AR broken down into parts when he comes over.
Not a rifle guy.......
I am mechanically incompetent. Well, not completely. So do you reuse the pins or do they have to be replaced? I know the stock trigger pins on CZs have to be replaced with more robust after-market pins when triggers are removed or replaced.
You can reuse the pins, you don't damage them when you remove them. But every time I have replaced the trigger with a new one, new pins were included in the kit.
I don't know.Yeah, I beg LT6 for forgiveness.
That sounds like a hoot! Go easy and maybe you can assimilate him.
