Sam said he was bringing a spare BCG with him tomorrow. If he does not we can take one out of an AR from my group and see if it runs your gun. If it does then I will look at the rings in yours. Takes all of a few minutes. I have some spares but as always, not sure what I did with them. I will try and bring them with me if I can find them.

Right on! It was running with brass cased ammo at the end of my range trip, but it still wasn't locking on an empty mag so it's either under-gassed or something's dragging.

I pulled the gas block to double check port alignment and based on the carbon ring, it couldn't have been more perfect. There was an ever-so-slight amount of fouling on the gas tube where it meets the block.
