Howdy CM, got distracted by a shiny.

Watching football, eating and figuring out how to open the trunk of my car......

Wife hauled something big home from Goodwill last night. Tiedthe trunk lid down with strapping. After we unloaded it and close the trunk, I try to open it again to put stuff in the backseat back in. It "Clicks", but doesn't open........:xmad:

Have you tried pushing down on it while "Clicking" like a tight hood.

Yep, tried that. Freakin newer cars don't have a "key" lock anywhere, just the release button on the dash.
Back seat does have a approx. 6" x 12" pass through. Looking back I can see the emergency T handle trunk release. When it gets daylight enough & a little warmer I am going to try that. I'm pretty sure I have something around here long enough to reach & grab the "t"???

I swear sometimes I think that I just can't let my womenfolk drive my car. Seems like whenever something breaks, one of them are driving....:xmad:

It is by design Sam. I suffer the same woe's.
Say something about it and you are the bad guy.
I have never known anyone harder on brakes than my spousal unit.

I don't know if my mom is harder on them, but why does she think that the only way to stop is to slam them? No finesse at all. :dunno:
