    I am wondering who is actually building them. CZ has no manufacturing facilities in the states AFAIK.

    Duh, it has to be a Dan Wesson. Probably has the CZ rollmark so they can get into the lower price market without impacting the DW brand. If this is made to DW specifications it might be worth the money.

    And the more I sit here and think about it, I remembered, when the Mrs. does go shooting she likes "that big one" the best...so no getting rid of the 1911 for me unless I get another 1911 :dunno:

    Thanks! Not sure how much shooting I'll be able to do today, I'm kinda tapped until payday. Lurk and shoots are fun but expensive!

    Nope. It has all the GI bits and pieces on it. 1st thing I pitch. The slide and frame (possibly the barrel) would be keepers I am sure. To those who hold faithful to the GI in it's original form will be the ones that may step up to this gun.
