Ok, have a gun to sell, thinking about listing it in the classified here but, need to ask family and a few close friends if they are interested first. The only problem is, I have no idea what it is worth (aside from what someone is willing to give me for it).

Anyone know if a "What is this worth" thread would be frowned upon?

Although I'm sure your thread would start with the best of intentions, it likely wouldn't end well as everyone has an opinion on firearm value.
