My brakes started making noise today. Its too cold to work on my truck dangit! And it won't fit in my garage.

That sucks! If you don't get to it soon, you are going to have to deal with the rotors instead of just replacing the pads.....

yeah i know how you feel...I heard mine grinding a bit yesterday. I am hoping we have a nice 50 degree day again sometime soon so I can take a look at them

I'm pretty sure its the rear drum brakes making noise. I think the rivets might be grinding into the drums. If that's all it is, I'll probably just throw a set of $20 shoes on there and forget about it for a while.

Eh, it's cheaper but, I hate working on drum brakes! No matter what I do, there is always at least one spring that just does not want to cooperate!

I know what you mean. I like discs better too but I grew up on drum brakes so I'm kinda used to it.
