Trying to get motivated to go run.
Been a long time since I did that. I was up to 30 miles a week at one point. I was doing 10 miles Mon, Wed, & Fri.

Been a long time since I did that. I was up to 30 miles a week at one point. I was doing 10 miles Mon, Wed, & Fri.
I do about 30 miles a week now... sometimes less depending on the weather.
I hate running, but I want to be around to see my kids grow up. I was a heart attack waiting to happen.
I never liked running either. I started because it was cheaper than a health club. I was chasing my kids up the stairs one day and things were shaking and it wasn't the house, it was me. I was a stick when I got married, but I gained over 100 pounds in 5 years.
I hear ya.
I've never been skinny, but I was in shape.
It's amazing how fast kids and work (especially shining a seat with your arse all day like I do) can make the pounds come on.

...and lots of pizza.
And potato chips.
And hamburgers.
And Grippos.
And french fries.
...etc.
I used to be able to eat all that and more to excess and not gain an ounce. Now I could gain pounds just reading it....and lots of pizza.
