This is just insane.

I also bought a Kinect(xbox) and rented a couple of games(I didn't want to buy any, because if the Kinect sucks, I'm taking it back and won't be out any money) and I haven't even gotten to setting it up, because I'm too entranced in this movie.

Both are good brands...

But it is only a 5.1 receiver. If I were you, I'd make sure and get a 7.1 receiver... it's the future standard for sound. In fact, almost all Blu Rays are coming out with 7.1 sound.

If you know you'll never want it, get a 5.1 system.

Just be sure you'll never want it... Wide LxR front speakers or center rear surrounds are pretty neat.

I have a fairly small living room and I feel like I wouldn't benefit from 7.1. The front, side and rear channels would literally have less than 10 feet between them.

Well then I wouldn't worry about 7.1.

Totally a personal decision.

In a room that small, that system you saw on Amazon would work fine.

I'm sure I'd get a 7.1 at some point, and move the 5.1 to a different room. I like speakers

I've never seen avatar. I have had a blu ray player for a while, it's amazing.

I almost bought a 3dTV the other day... I'm not sure I'm sold on that technology.

What is the difference with blue ray and the original ones?
