Alright I need some help, wife's b-day is next Friday I'm taking her to Indy and I need a good place to eat but can't run more than $75 for 2 people. She likes everything but Sushi. Any suggestions?

Not sure what day you plan on going exactly (yes, I know her birthday's Friday) but if you go on Sunday you can use a certificate from restaurant.com and take her to The Melting Pot. I believe you can't use the certificate on Friday or Saturday. I think you can keep it under $75 if you don't order bar drinks.

It's a really nice place and it's different.

Do a google search for restaurant.com discounts. Sometime you can get up to 80% off.

My wife's insulin runs about $400.00 bucks a month!! So I pray that your don't either!! Not just because of the cost but it is not any fun seeing the one you love have to go though that daily!!

I'm lucky that I have decent insurance (at least for now) that covers most of mine. I could change my screen name to pin-cushion because I never go more than a few hours without poking another hole somewhere. I guess I've just gotten used to it because I don't really even think about it anymore, I just do it.

Anyone been to the cheese cake factory?
I would eat there every day if I could. The one at the Keystone Mall has a local reputation of making the best mojitos in town. EVERY cheesecake is good (although I recommend the Red Velvet), and I really enjoy the pasta dish that has chicken and bell peppers... I thought it was called something like "Louise's Chicken Pasta" ... but I can't find anything like it on the online menu. Clearly I need to go there for more than cheesecake again sometime soon.

:+1: to this. If you can do a Sunday-Thursday dinner, August is Club Fondue Appreciation Month where 2 can dine for $59.99, and that includes all four courses. PM me with your email and I'll forward it to you.

If you can come this Saturday I highly recommend Dawson's on Main in Speedway, dine after 5 and ask for Emily, this goes for everyone here:D
