Is there a way to remove an infraction, if the infraction was truely given by mistake?
an infraction or a negative rep? infractions can only be given by Mods.

If you mean a negative rep, then no, there isn't any way to take it back except to find another post by that person and rep them back as often as you think is necessary to make reparations.

Does a "report post" lead to an infraction?
