I would love to come. My response to your earlier question about Appleseed;

I would love to, but after calling the wife with the "are we doing anything this weekend" call, she reminded me that her daughter is coming down to introduce the new BF. I have to stay home for that.

I had something I had to do the last time her daughter came down. If I leave again this time, she will wonder if I'm avoiding her or something, so for family peace I have to stay home.

Save the $150. If it was $20-$30 that's one thing, but $150 is something else.
