Ceiling fan installed. So far it is still attached to the ceiling.

I figured out why the old one fell. The ball socket wore out. One little wobble was all it took. Got a Hunter.

Evening everyone. Any idea when you go back to work, DB?

I dropped a fan blade screw earlier in the day. Looked for over a half hour and couldn't find it. It couldn't do the light or make it function until I had that screw. Said screw it I'll get one tomorrow. Found it a half hour ago in the open on top of my end table. I swore it fell on the floor.

An IMPD officer is involved in a shooting in the northwest district. The suspect ended up dead.

That I am. As I was putting the new one up I realized that when the old one fell it rotated towards where I was standing. It moved maybe 2 feet.

After that fan almost hit me one of my first thoughts was if it had hit me and injured me so I couldn't work could I get on our short term disability? Technically I am still an employee.

Are they doing summer camp? We are so busy at work it is ridiculous with a huge list of people to try to reschedule. Every day we are told something different about how we are to schedule and what our hours are going to be. It is going to be interesting. I hope the lady I work with at the front desk survives this...she is 67 and wants to work till 70 to get better SS retirement, but she is getting really stressed out.
