I have been making a much more concerted effort to visit family and friends recently as I would much rather spend time with them now before I no longer have that option. It is nice to connect with those we haven't seen for a long time at the funeral/visitation, but it is not the way I want to spend my time with them. I try to remember that it is a celebration of the person's life rather than the "End". It is just the end of their time here with us.
