I'm having a hard time getting awake today.

I heard the hubby come home last night, but have no idea what time that was. I'm sure he won't be up when I leave in a half hour so I guess I'll see him tonight. It is good that we are both pretty independent people. My work schedule and his hunting schedule are not the same.

He will switch to the fishing bug before long. I just nod and say "yes dear" a lot. LOL

He could have much worse hobbies. I'm just glad to see him enjoying his retirement. He worked hard for a lot of years and life is too short to spend the whole thing working.

I was starting to get nervous that my paycheck got lost but I see it just went into the bank account. I hope they got things straightened out. I realized when I filed our taxes that they were not taking Federal taxes out of my check for some reason. I guess I hadn't looked at my pay stubs close enough to notice it. Everything else is coming out. I'll see when I get my stub if they got that corrected. Based on the deposit amount, I am guessing they did.

Morning all-

I'll ditto on the anti-tornado part.

Got an update on Dad yesterday. Unfortunately it's about as bad as it gets- primary brain cancer, aggressive and incurable. Looking at treatment options to improve and extend quality of life.

The worst part right now is not knowing how much function and personality he will recover with treatment. He didn't appear to recognize my 21yr old yesterday.

One day at a time.
