Actually, I recall that 'short people' reality tv show, where they had a trebuchet at the pumpkin farm. The kid got hurt on it. bummer.
We would need a really long range for one of those things!

For bowling ball size you need a pierriere, much smaller machine and you can throw them at 50ish yards.

9mm is 115 grains, sure you can shoot it pretty fast, but how many grains is a Holstein?
