So, I'm going through a serious life decision right now and could use a little advice.

I've been wanting to get either an AR10, or a PTR91. The dilemma is I already have a lot of rifles that I already can't go shooting because I don't have a 500+ yard range available close. I have property up in Michigan, but that's a 6 hour drive, and fuel prices being what they are I haven't been up there in 3 years.

So I've been toying with dropping the idea completely.... What say you?

I say as long as spending the money won't interfere with any of your responsibilities, go for the one that puts the most tickle in your breeches.

Right now the PTR91 is winning because I can pick up mags for under $10 each, and I can buy it, a bipod and magnified optics for under the price of a bone stock AR10.
