We made up a batch of green beans last night.

I did actually get sick of them for a while after last season, but I'm back on board again now.

My wife asked me what I want for Father's day. I was honest and said "to not hear screaming kids all day". So needless to say I'm kinda in the dog house... lol

Hey, they ask....we answer honestly.....they put us in the corner.....stop asking....

We have kids running everywhere all day. G-kids, neighbors kids etc. They feel the need to shriek. I need a day myself.

Done at the yard sales! Scored some deals. Hubby not impressed with all of them, but oh well. I got a kraut cutter so when I make my sauerkraut this year, I won't have to slice all that cabbage with a knife. Last year, I did 70 pounds of cabbage and it took a while to get it done! I got a brand new one for $10! Got a rooster statue because my daughter told me I couldn't have it...she was wrong. Got two wine bottle holders...one is a duck and the other is a parakeet that wasn't even out for sale. The lady got it out of her house and sold it to me for $2. LOL! Got a hot air popper for roasting coffee beans for $2. A few other miscellaneous items for 50 cents each. We had fun. I got some free flower bulbs so off I go to plant those! BBL

I have tried to make something close to hers but I must not be putting enough love into it or something. Same ingredients but never comes out like hers.

I found another 1/2 case today, I spread it around a little better this year, 2 rows instead of 4

My wife does her family recipe, but I'm partial to my moms. She will do my mom's as well but she refuses to put onions in it.

Lets put it this way…last night when I got one of my laoded rounds stuck in the chamber because the neck wasnt right, I thought it was gonna be basement for a moment!!!

No, you should be good. I didn't get mine in last year until almost July.

Nope. There's still time. The batch we just made were canned from last year.

Slow drive by!! Went to put my flag out for Flad Day and my dad said its looking kinda raggedy. Which is was, so me and pops are going 'Merica flag shopping!!! When we find the right one, we both yell " **** Yeah!" Reall loud!! Home Depot will be pleased!!
