    Oooohhhhh CccRRRAAAAPPPP.

I just had a customer call. My company just sent him 9 skids of decking for a dock/pier he is building in 144" boards. He ordered 147" boards.

And this is a special finish. The wrong length boards are not something we can take back and sell for stock.

Well, hopefully you can get him the right boards and sell the others at cost to someone else...?

Maybe you can convince him that 3" isn't really noticeable regardless of what his wife tells him. And then you could sell the boards at cost to not have to take them back. :dunno:

The fecal matter has hit the rotary oscillator. Hope you can get it resolved fairly painlessly.

Well, the stars were aligned, we are running a similar item through on of our machines, so we will be able to get him replacement product tonight & tomorrow. But, even though they can use some of what was shipped, there is going to be a bunch of scrapped material. I'm sure glad I didn't make the mistake, this is gonna end up being a roughly $20K mistake.
