I like those in theory, but it seems like they're awfully small. My grill has a lot more surface area, so you can fit more on it than you could on a big green egg.

I agree theres not much cooking surface. I have 3x the cooking surface on my Webber for half the cost but it cooks better steaks thsn mine imo.

THis guy had 2 of them. One was really really big the other was smaller but still as much room as I would need. It would easily smoke a couple big butts or brikets. You couldnt do hamburgers for the whole clan at one time.

Smoking/baking seems like the best use for them for sure.

I like good smoked barbecue and have never been able to do it at home. But I wonder, realisticaly how often would I eat it then?

My buddy showed me a new way to make bbq. Mind you its not the traditional way but it turns out awesome, more like a whoopass manwich. I dont do pork much so he does a steak batch when I go over. He cooks the steaks and while still hot cuts them in strips , then grinds them up in a meat grinder keeping all the juices and ground up meat together, then mixes in his special bbq sauce concoction and then puts it in the stove til hot again and wow its delisioso. It works for chicken and pork too but I've only had the steak.
