Howdy DD! Have 1 errand tomorrow and thats it and will be inside til Thursday afternoon when a buddy is coming over for some gpt.

I'm not ready to be stuck inside yet, but it's only a matter of time. Gotta winterize the boat motor this weekend and get the southern exposure of the deck tarped.

I've gotten soft over the years. I used to actually enjoy camping in the winter. Used to love going and getting set up before a snow was expected. Loved waking up the next morning to a snow-covered woods. So quiet and peaceful. Took a lot of preparation, but I was able to stay comfortable. At some point, I lost the motivation to do that. Or I came to my senses. :):

    Heated gloves. :shady:

Gave up on the heated gloves. Went thru at least a dozen pairs when I was working. Went to warmers and was happy with the results. Just had to figure out they go on the back of you hand, they last longer and work better that way. Heated socks are the bomb tho.

I wear good quality foot wear, and thermal socks. Haven't needed the h socks yet. If I'm out long when it's cold, I have my Mickies.

Since I've been on blood thinners my feet freeze if I'm out in it for very long. I have a good stock of thermal socks and good boots but they dont help much if im out long. I go straight to the heated ones if I'm going to be out longer than a half hour. Getting olds a *****..
