    do you make your own? Store bought? Certain brand? anything goes?

    I have had home made(not mine) and it was quite tasty. Not fond of the stuff in a can but it will do in a pinch. The kraut you find in bags in the grocery coolers can be quite good. No particular brand comes to mind.

    Mom used to make it. I buy the canned most of the time but it is hard to go through it all with just me.

    The only thing I use it for is Reubens, so I usually get the jarred stuff just so I can re-close it when I'm done, but I still usually end up throwing it out.
    Reubens are good.. I like it with my brats. I will even it some if left in the fridge with some beans.
