Combined with the weather you guys are killing me. I'm have to get the oil changed, re assemble the valve train, fill the cooling system, charge the batteries, top off the gas and she will be ready to rock. Been holding off due to weather since we run 100% water in the cooling system so we don't have to worry about any freezing issues. But I am ready to make some music and smell the distinct scent of race gas

I run 87. Sometimes it's really hard to find! Oh and the prices! :faint:

Ouch. Well played. C23- 120+ octane $21/gal. :spend: We burn through @ 1.25 gallon and @3lbs of giggle gas per 1/8th mile. Grandpa was right when he told me... Boy if it's got boobs or wheels it's going to cost you money, racing is a rich mans sport and you aint rich. Danged if he wasn't right
Gotta pick up oil & filter tomorrow that should be@ $160

Ok so I'm not the best at down sizing pics and haven't had time to edit them much but here are a few from my trip to Spring Rod Run

This might be more than Rusty can handle.
A nice Ventura and C10 in the same picture.

The shifter placement doesn't look right to me. It's off center towards the driver. I'm thinking it should be in the center.

The floor position it correct but the stick is leaned towards the driver. Center position is a direct trans. mounted stick. These shifters are on the side of the box.
