Anyone ever seen "The Mechanic" with Jason Statham?

The movie is your basic "rogue assassin" plot, but I was surprised at the better-than-normal gun handling skills of Statham and Foster. Most notable was their firing from supine and using several close-contact retention positions.

The bad guy extras? Not so much. . . .

Anyway, definitely worth checking it out OnDemand or your local rental place.

I liked it. Is it just me or does Jason Statham play the same role on every single movie? :dunno: haha

He varies it a bit... The expendables he was a knife wielding BA...lol

I will agree his role diversity is pretty linear, but I generally enjoy his work... Except Crank 2:High Voltage.... That was just awful, and I love C/D list movies!

In that last picture, I've never seen that stance before. Does doing lunges while shooting help with your core?

I'll give him the stance. There really is no such thing in a gunfight.

But that grip?! Ack! You can't tell me he's seeing his sights way up there, lol.

Do they fire 25 shots without reloading like some movies do? The movie, Faster, cracked me up when the Rock fired, I wanna say, 13 shots out of a 5 round revolver.

yes excellent movie. I do agree crank2 was very bad. I love everything else he has done. As long as he can look the part & do the part he should stick to these action movies.
