Not sure where to post this. Since this young man gave his life for our rights and freedom, I posted it here.

I received this from a friend this morning, it's an old article, happened in 2005.
That image and the story has haunted me all day. I cried a couple of times and am doing so as I write this. So I had to share this with others.

She wanted to sleep next to her husband one last time before he was buried, she was also pregnant. The Marines accommodated her. See the link for the whole story. (after a couple of people stated that this was hoax, I checked into it further and added some additional photos to help clarify - this is real as it gets )

    Where's the bacon?
I don't care if it's a dupe. Good post, and thank you to both the OP for posting it and the military men and women who guarded the vigil and who did and do the job of guarding, protecting, and defending our country and our way of life.

    Not a dupe

Pretty sure this is a dupe...but that doesn't diminish the power of the story. :patriot:

I checked into this further, it is not a "dupe", you almost wish it was.

It is an illustartion of the sacrifice people make for our country, with their lives, and with the lives of their loved ones.

A "dupe" on Ingo has a different meaning. It means duplicate as in it's been posted previously and not a fake story. We still have an appreciation for your thread anyway and the story hits just as hard on all of us this time as well. God Bless :patriot:

    I agree.

And damn this dusty weather, I think I have some in my eyes.

Excellent post. Just looking at the pictures sent cold chills down my back.
