So, we're returning to the notion that homosexuals are pedophiles, are we?I'm afraid I have to disagree with you about it being clearly "untrue."
Teaching children about sexual perversions is pushing towards pedophilia. Period.
The only thing I guess we can't know for absolute certain is whether they are ALL doing it "knowingly and purposefully." I suppose there may exist some people out there who are really so incredibly stupid that they don't realize that teaching five- and six-year-olds about all the different kinds of perverted sexual behaviors out there is inevitably going to lead us towards a wholesale acceptance of pedophilia at worst, and a far easier time for pedophiles at best, but even it today's world, that kind of stupidity has got to be rare.
Again, it makes no difference who is begging to talk sex with little kids. We should all have a problem with the fact that some people do, focusing on the sexual orientation of the adult wanting to chat sex with kids is nothing more than a diversionary leftist tactic. Paint them a victim and we can forgive them for what they do.Should a person other than a parent be allowed to discuss sex or sexual topics with prepubescent children? If your answer is anything but an immediate and unequivocal NO then you are a part of the problem.
Depends what you mean. If you mean that ALL homosexuals (I don't really like to use that word. What does it mean? Does anyone who at any point in their life felt any kind of homosexual attraction automatically become a homosexual? To clarify for the purposes of this conversation, I'm talking about someone who engages in homosexual acts, and believes there's nothing wrong with it.) are also pedophiles, obviously it's not true. But accepting/promoting/normalizing homosexual acts (particularly to children) in the end game leads to an acceptance/normalization of pedophilia. So, we're returning to the notion that homosexuals are pedophiles, are we?
I hold to a traditional Christian view of marriage and gender roles, but to me, this line of thinking is just recockulous and dangerous.
Edit: I'm far more worried about the influences of TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter than I am about a teacher. I'm sure that studies show that social media and peer pressure are key.
Enjoy.
I would love to ask some of these people just where they WOULD draw the line.Again, it makes no difference who is begging to talk sex with little kids. ****ing gross
Enjoy.
So, Chip, I don't get it - am I suppose to support or reject laws based on curated clips of idiots spouting garbage while sitting in their cars? So, all those videos reposted by LibsOfTikTok, of elementary school teachers, describing not only their actions but also their motives, are faked?
Therein lies the problem. There is no end game for the left, nothing is ever enough. If they had the ability to moderate their behavior Donald Trump would have never been elected, but they don't. They claim they want equal rights but what they really want is special status and permission to do whatever they hell they want.I would love to ask some of these people just where they WOULD draw the line.
What subject WOULD be taboo?
How about talking to adolescents about proper firearm usage and safety.
Preachin' to the choir here bud.Therein lies the problem. There is no end game for the left, nothing is ever enough. When the only use you can find for yourself on this planet is to convince everyone that life isn't fair and you're a victim of everything, there is no final chapter. These same people are so empty inside that they will latch on to anything, regardless of how ****ed up it is, to associate themselves with and use their commitment to the cause to convince others that they have worth. Most don't.
Why does this have to be a requisite for the term groomer?I do not believe that everyone, or even the majority, of people who want to teach about LGBTQ+ issues in school are pedophiles.

There is a huge, and significant, difference between "advancing LGBTQ+ causes to minors" (something teachers should NOT be doing in their role as educators, regardless) and what is being done; that is: actively influencing minor students (including early elementary age) to believe that they are themselves part of the LGBTQ+ community - and doing so intentionally behind the backs of students' parents.Sexual grooming - Wikipedia

The definition you used and that linked above do not seem to be equivalent.
The use of the term "grooming" currently is clearly intended to imply that anyone who is advancing LGBTQ+ causes to minors is knowingly and purposefully promoting pedophilia.
While I am not at all in favor of gender confusion and minors being indoctrinated regarding said issue, this is clearly propaganda, unfair and untrue as to most educators and others it is aimed at.
In your opinion, what is the functional difference between "grooming" and "indoctrinating"? (There is a difference, and that difference applies in this discussion.)But that wouldn't have the shock value....regardless of the fact that it is more accurate.
It really has little to do with encouraging minors to engage in sexual behavior. Rather, it is a matter of eroding the stability of those minors in their sexual and gender identity - at an age when they shouldn't even really be aware of their sexual and gender identity. In other words, it isn't about getting minors to engage in sex, but rather to question their sexual orientation and/or their gender. It is about turning students "trans", "gender fluid", "non-binary", and the like.I guess I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around this. Do you really believe that teaching kids about sex is purely a matter of indoctrination? That they really only want kids to think about this stuff abstractly, and believe it's okay, but have no intentions whatsoever of encouraging kids to engage in these sorts of behaviors?
If you haven't, then you're arguing from a position of ignorance.Do you honestly think I've seen those?
You're welcome to find alternate clips, if you don't like how those are curated. TikTok is, for some unknown reason, an absolute magnet for teachers who proudly discuss how they interact inappropriately with students (and parents). That's some serious rage porn.
I feel dumber for watching what I saw.
So, Chip, I don't get it - am I suppose to support or reject laws based on curated clips of idiots spouting garbage while sitting in their cars?
That seems like a bad way to legislate.
