That he’s a Republican, and gets things done, have nothing to do with each other, other than that the Democrat party doesn’t allow sane policies. A neocon/establishment/chamber-o-commerce Republican won’t get those things done. The Liz Cheney/Nikki Haley wing of the party would never push an anti DEI policy.

Yeah. He does the things most republicans will campaign fund raise on but nearly none will actually fight the fight that matters, in the way it matters, at the time it matters.

Cheney in heel’s doesn’t think that accomplishment is a thing to aspire to. You have to rely on the America-first wing of the party to even find people who broadly think it is.
