An update here: That story came out in the fall of 2017.
She's not a math prof. and doesn't even have a degree in math..... it's worse.... she's in the education department. Which means she's indoctrinating teachers. She's a full professor at Illinois, so she's not going anywhere.
Well, we all know that evaluation of one's basketball skills can perpetuate discrimination against whites. Heck, they even made a movie about it. So I'd say it's a wash.
