Wow. This is currently on Reddit, and it hasn't been deleted. A highly "upvoted" thread in /r/unpopularopinions, with some reasonable comments.

Non-binary "genders" are personalities, not genders.

Non-binary gender is just another word for personality. There are more than just two personalities and each non-binary gender is actually a personality and not a gender. Just because you have these characteristics doesn't mean you are no longer a male or female. Personality is a social construct, not gender. The term "gender" has only been changed in some dictionary to appease people that think their personality is a different gender.

I'll happily call anyone he/she/they no matter what they look like. Trans is a real thing, whether it's a mental illness or not is irrelevant. But if you're "cloudgender" with the pronouns "ae/aer/aers" you can **** right off.
