Yes it will. This country will be utterly decimated, and there will be massive bloodshed. It will make the Civil War look like a birthday party in comparison.

Sadly, with as stupid as most people are, it's inevitable at this point. Might as well get ready for it, because it's coming.

If this **** goes south, so to speak, it is gonna be ugly. Yugoslavia is probably a good (errr, bad) example. The argument would be about world view, not economics. Everyone can eventually compromise on economics. Not so much on world view...

Puerto Rico is already bankrupt and has been appealing to the US for debt relief. The US won't have that luxury.
