Massie shoots straight. This is a solid interview. The Debt is the first thing they address. In a nutshell, the dollar is still the world's reserve currency. I agree, fantastic interview. I watched most of it and his stories, common sense, intelligence and sense of humor are unique in the uniparty arena. Particularly his willingness to take a stand on his values and principles when nearly everyone is seemingly against him is phenomenal. He's trying to be optimistic about changing the direction of the Country but he also built, by his own hands, an off-grid home to be prepared starting 20 years ago

I don't have social media but loved his twitter story about him exposing the losers in Congress waving the Ukraine flags with a video, getting called out on it, then reposting for many more millions of views.

I did subscribe to his YouTube page and plan to watch most everything, including his off grid timber frame house build. We had a barn like that growing up. I can really relate to him with my personal life.

Here's the thing. There are the movers and shakers of the radical left and there are the useful idiots. People like my inlaws don't believe leftism impoverishes people/erodes their freedoms. She thinks Republicans do that. Then again, she's firmly convinced she's a moderate, while holding the view that borders should be open and that people should be able to come here and get welfare and vote and whatever. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They live in a bubble. They're never exposed to other opinions except when we visit. Nothing to challenge their views. And then they're freaked out by ours.

I have, had, an aunt (recently passed) who was a nice enough person.
I have nothing but fond memories of her and my uncle.
With that said, they were complete idiots.
They did not leave their house when covid hit, having friends and family bring provisions and drop them at the door.
This continued for 3 YEARS!
They finally allowed their children and a few family over last year, but they had STILL not left their house when she ended up in the hospital, passing days later.

Don't get me wrong, I loved my aunt, but she wasted the last 3 years of her life over fear.

Tell them I'll be over shortly. I'm moving in.
I'm going to claim one of the bedrooms and live there. Open borders are great.
Since everyone should get welfare, I expect $400 a week from them plus 3 meals a day cooked by them.
If they are lucky, I wont call the rest of my family to come stay with me.
