    This week's Gameranx wrapup

    1. Bungie splits with Activision, keeps Destiny game IP. Bungie gains full control and will self-publish the game.
    2. Capcom announced Resident Evil 2 demo. It's a 30 minute "one-shot", and available now.
    3. There were plans for God of War DLC
    4. NVidia bringing G-Sync support to some FreeSync monitors.
    5. New Alien Isolation-style game... but it's coming to mobile. Disappointment to fans.
    6. Final Fantasy 14 weddings are coming to Japan. Yes, weddings sanctioned by Square Enix. (FFXIV has in-game weddings... but now it's coming to life.)
    7. The Division 2 will not be available on Steam. Will go to the Epic game store.
    8. GameStop could be purchased by another company as early as February.

Let the past die; kill it if you have to.
I wish they hadn't. There is so much that could be done with it.

I'd like to see them resurrect the KoTOR games and maybe make some movies for that. Then again, they would probably just be more of the SJW nonsense they are pushing in their movies these days.

Fallout 76 is reportedly going Free-to-play

If GTA Online has taught me anything, it's that FtP and MMO are massive mindgame traps.

Every day there's always something that I feel like I must do to get the next reward. FoMo is strong with these.

I'll pay my money, get my single player game and play on my own schedule, without the fear of cheaters, thank you very much.

The one thing MMO's bring, is the complete unpredictability of other players. Maybe they'll be nice, maybe they'll hunt you mercilessly, maybe they'll just scream incomprehensibly into their mic.

I understand the feeling there. This games as a service drivel they are doing with BFV drives me nuts. I like not paying for the premium packs like the previous games. however, the content is too slow to come and pretty garbage.

It doesn't help that the game isn't as fun as previous versions either.
