    Vernal Equinox seems like an OK place to start counting. Mainly because it is easy to nail down.
    But Hibernal Solstice or Estival Solstice take some doing to figure.

    Either are easy with diligence and a series of straight sticks that never move.
    Then we just throw in a few days to make it all add up.

    Mainly, we need to shut up about it and just take off from where we are.
