    I remember a news story about a tree farm in Ohio that had a license plate that said "WTF". It stood for the name of the business. W****(Wilson, White, whatever. I don't remember) Tree Farm. The state rejected thier plate renewal thinking it meant what the F***. The family had the plate for something like 15-20 years without issue.

    Actually, based on silver content, they are worth about $1.05 right now, so two silver dimes is roughly in-line with current gas prices.

    I usually use the 1963 equivalent. In 1963 the cost for a gallon of gas was $.25. That same quarter today buys a gallon of gas with a little change left over. (not counting the numismatic value)
