This has to be the worst crane handling I've seen.
And the ground crew are bad also.
The crane may be supporting the weight, but the pipe still has MASS.
And a 200 pound man doesn't have the mass to stop that.

Crane shoulda set the load down for a minute.
Problem fixed.
Then move it to the correct spot.

Agreed, I've got 13-15 years to go until retirement. Social Security will run out of money at some point. I am not smart enough to know when that might be. They could always seize all the 401k's and IRA's like they did in parts of Europe and impose a crushing VAT tax to keep it rolling for a while I guess.
