    With all due respect to LTC Grossman, young men were massacring entire towns for fun before we had written language to record the atrocity. People are evil. Sure society, or technology, or peers, or upbringing might help them along. But people are evil inside, and some let it out in a big way. In fact, we are as restrained as we have ever been.
