There's an eclipse tonight. Here's a quick briefing on them

There was a time (pre 9/11) when I wore dress socks with sandals WITH A SUIT to the office.

    9/11 changed everything.

Today for 2 hours before I left to work out, I wore: a yellow Pacers t-shirt from 1996, black basketball shorts, gray Brooks running shoes and a pink headband because the 1980s will never die.

The staff would not let me walk around outside my office.

I have defeated Houghmade and, more importantly, I have defeated INGO.

I blame Churchmouse. It's that Hello Kitty purse that has thrown the Earth off it's axis and created this chaos.

By the way, what is your avatar from?

    Battlestar Galatica

The redux. I never watched that one. Starbuck was a chick, I think.

Correct raptrbreth. Incorrect, falcon. It is a Cylon Centurion from the original Battlestar Galactica 1978-1979 TV series with Lorne Greene (Commander Adama), Richard Hatch (Apollo), and Dirk Benedict (Starbuck). Not the redux series from the mid-2000's, which I did not watch.

I see I'm not the only person who finds the passive-aggressive (or aggressive-aggressive) "you don't know what I've been through, how dare you judge me" posts on Facebook, annoying and worthy of eye rolling aplenty.

You could spare yourself that grief by closing your account on the facebook and never looking back! It's evil!

It wasn't perfect, but it was pretty good. I watched it on Netflix. It rotates through every so often.

If we're voting, I prefer the Tricia Helfer model. By far. WOW.

Of course, I'm not sure what she can do for you if you have a couple of slices of bread and want some toast. Although . . . I'm pretty sure if you held the bread near her for a while, it would be toast soon enough. She's . . . hot.
