When we used to watch NASCAR someone would come in the room and ask who was leading. My mother always said "the guy in front".....

My mom called me selfish once... well, many times really, but this time I responded with, "Does it make me selfish because I care about ME?"

I remember her leaping at me from the top of the stairs and tackling me over the back of the sofa. Things got a little fuzzy after that. Most likely due to the head trauma.

When we used to watch NASCAR someone would come in the room and ask who was leading. My mother always said "the guy in front".....

I hope you inherited that attitude.

He would say "oh... you CAN... but that doesn't mean I'll LET you..."

So I would say "MAY we?"

He'd say "oh... a little French boy..."


Yup. That's how that conversation often went.
