    Facts not needed.
Reminds me of a thread about another FB conversation on the cost per item of something.
    People couldn't do the math.

I love how he ordered the person to never disagree with him, lol. His faith has made him stupid, rigid, and myopic! That will really bring people to Christ. God is the author of many things. Stupidity isn't one of them.

Back in the day, when there were two people each shift, my partner and I walked in. Previous crew tells us EMLI (Electro Magnetic Level Indicator) doesn't work. They can't get it to work.
So we spend 15 minutes to half hour on it, get it working.
Next day.... they yell at us to NEVER fix something they say couldn't be fixed. We made them look bad.

No. They made them look bad.
Besides, what are we going to do? Tell the boss, "Sorry. EMLI is broke. We need to spend $60,000 or so to get a new one"

    Where's the bacon?

Interestingly enough, everyone is all up in arms about Behar's so-called joke. No question, she was insulting and wrong and deserves the drubbing she's getting, but just to put this in perspective, EMTs and paramedics get called "ambulance drivers" Every. Da*n. Day... and no one makes a big deal about it, even though that's far more insulting. To make that even worse, it often is said BY nurses!

I don't say "Just an ambulance driver" even to an ambulance driver.
Anyone getting me to the hospital alive is ok in my book.
Not that I haven't had a few trips in an ambulance.
And the hospital is surprisingly close to where I work .

I hate that crap. Your incompetency is not caused by my competency.

It's easier to drag everyone down than to pull everyone up.

My job title is "Systems Repairman" (Instrumentation/Control/Electronics)
So, we're supposed to "Repair" stuff.
It is literally what they pay me to do.
Not to say, "It's broke. Need new one".

They get upset when EMLI (pronounced Emily) doesn't work.
It controls liquid steel level (somewhere around 2,850+ deg)

    I don't know why.
I mean what's wrong with a couple hundred thousand pounds of liquid steel spilled?
