    The bang gets suppressed, but the sonic crack doesn't, however, the sonic crack is not very directional, so it makes it hard to narrow down quite where it comes from. This is why, when Mother says I may, I'll thread the barrel on my 7mmRM to take the 7.62 can. Same can I'll use on the 300BLK which should be real quiet with no sonic crack.

    I'll be impressed when he's as hard to see as a submarine hiding.

    Pretty sure no self respecting sniper is ever going to lock himself in an air tight tube with a bunch of other dudes so splashing around under water. What happens under the sea, can stay under the sea.

    First, regular army don't consider snipers as "respectable".
    Just like the regular navy don't consider subs "respectable".
    Both operate outside the influence of main units.
    Both spend time working in and out of a situation.
    Both sneak up on and "observe".
