    I never fell for the hazing attempts of being sent to get grid squares from the company office, but a fellow Marine was sent to find some camouflage paint. He came back after an hour with a can of spray paint that had a camouflage label that said exactly, Camouflage Paint. He showed the salts, hehe.

    I think PRC-E7 stands for Prick E-7's. Chief Petty Officer

    Right, the PRC-77 is a common radio used in the Marines which we simply referred to as a prick 77. An E7 in the Corps is a Gunnery Sgt.

    I wasn't in the Navy, but I put in a few years in a limestone mill.
    I was always surprised at how many noobs would run to the office for a box of dowel holes or a stone stretcher if you asked them to.
