I never fell for the hazing attempts of being sent to get grid squares from the company office, but a fellow Marine was sent to find some camouflage paint. He came back after an hour with a can of spray paint that had a camouflage label that said exactly, Camouflage Paint. He showed the salts, hehe.

I wasn't in the Navy, but I thought flight line was kept on a spool?

I do have to admit ignorance of the IR can on the right and the PRC-E7s on the left. Anyone?

I may have been a PRC-E5 at times, but didn't stay in long enough to become a PRC-E7.

Right, the PRC-77 is a common radio used in the Marines which we simply referred to as a prick 77. An E7 in the Corps is a Gunnery Sgt.
