I had Siberian Huskies, my friend had a Malamute, it took 4 yrs for it to get to its prime of 150 lbs. When it was around 2 it was on chain in winter and pack of coyotes attacked it, it survived though, fought all day and he found a chunk of meat and fur size of softball laying in the bloody snow.....it was from one of the coyotes. 2 yrs later he was walking with the Malamute and across field was a big coyote with a female. The Malamute took off across field and female yote ran away but big male yote came charging. They hit head on out in that field....the Malamute killed the yote almost instantly.....said it was so cool. Payback.
