Started pressure washing the house this afternoon. Gable ends, gutters, soffits, and garage doors, etc. Ran two tanks of gas through the pressure washer, I’m about 3/4 away around the house.

I’ll be lucky to be able to raise my arms over my head in the morning.

I need to do that. Also to the fence

My wife hears them, but even with a hearing aid (my older one that I trust to bring out here in the woods)), I don't.
So quiet for me is REALLY quiet !

Our area can be fairly rowdy on a Saturday night as in outdoor festivity's and such but tonight it was blessed quite. Save for the insects.

My grandparents had a large home in Woodruff Place when I was a kid (back when it was a very nice area ). I had sleepovers often.
One of my fondest memories was listening to the katydids when I was tucked in bed, and the windows were all open (no A/C back then).
Man-o-man .....that sound was so sweet !
