Did much the same, some clean and fix then out to the range. The 1894 SRC shot cast 32-40s with no issue at all and the S&W 1899 was spot on. The .357 Uberti SA will take some front sight adjustment it cants to the left, not a hard fix. I think this revolver was distressed by somebody into CAS, the outside is rustic, while the inside is good.
I was surprised when you told me it was a Uberti. At a glance, it looked old.
You definitely have my son hooked on the classics. He’s probably home now searching for a single action pistol. We had a great day, thank you sir!

    .
Distressed look is popular, here's the Uberti that was distressed, a 110 year old Colt, and another Uberti with a factory distressed finish.

I need a good deal more booze before I buy anything right now. Although maybe a small purchase of a new house gun when I close. Hmmmm.

Everyone needs some kind of a SAA or clone at some point. Sooner is better than later. I only have two, an Uberti in 45LC and a Texas Longhorn Arms in 44 mag. You are welcome to give them a spin anytime!

I need Texas guns. I think they have requirements, that I don’t yet meet.
