Oh it's true, ask any of the ones that know me for real, or just go back to the point blank thread about 24 hours ago. A little beer can melt the filter.
Ok, well I guess I'll drink those beers.
Speaking of beer, I like beer with lots of hopps, but I'm not a beer snob as long as the beer is cold, very cold!

Memories, pressed between the pages of our lives .... (sung in Frank Sinatra voice) :D

I thought that you gangsters would be interested in this photo. I'm always amazed that the bore of the beast is so clean. This is the first patch (soaked in Hoppes) that I pushed through. There's barely a tinge of gray on the white patch. It's like the boolits (sic) are moving so fast and hot that the grime is just blown out the muzzle. It makes cleaning a breeze. Like usual, the chambers in the cylinder, the top strap, and the front of the crane are much dirtier than the barrel.

Surprised you can use a standard patch in that monster; figure it would take a rolled up beach towel or something!

....and what's the deal with putting a SW on a Glock mat? :stickpoke:

    I'm an equal opportunity operator ! :D
Sometimes, I do put (2) patches on the rod, but the first patch is just absolutely dripping-soaked in Hoppes, and then I let it sit a while.
Also, being a proper operator I have a 50 cal brass Jag for final passes through the bore.

For sure. After this week things will be back to normal for me. I gotta make a trip and grab some targets and take them to Kjq. That's the only thing on my plate

Sounds good....this week busy for me too. Gotta get to the cabin, and at the end of my stay.....winterize the plumbing (it's a messy, all day job).

Saw a game used baseball from the 2016 world series tonight. Wish I owned one but the cheapest I can find is like 10k. So that's basicly never gonna happen. So that's like a grail piece for me

    Morning mcapo and KJ.

Our power went out in the middle of the night for 5-6 hours. AEP said it was caused by a vehicle accident. Same thing happened twice in the same day a week or two ago. How messed up would it be if 3 different people crashed into the same spot.
