Seeking more knowledge at the font of CZ-know how. :ingo:

On the left a CGW 85c trigger for Canik clones. On the right the OEM trigger in my S-120.

The 85c does not 'articulate' well through the range of motion allowed by the trigger pin. The trigger tends to bind at the rounded corners when drawn back.

Is it okay/advisable to square away the 85c opening to allow the bar freer motion, or relieve the bar?

When I simply place the trigger in position, there is plenty of clearance, but once the trigger pin is in place, it tightens up, especially when drawn back into firing position.

Anyone had the experience of installing one of these?

I would file the rounded edge of the trigger until you get free range of movement. Use a black marker on the rounded edges then put in the pin move it around which will rub the marker off and then use your file.

Here is Riley II. A lot of folks are a part to making this happen to get to this point. From the drawing board planned months in advance with a few hurdles to jump along the way. Rustyhornet buying the CZ75 SP-01. BirdsAway buying the CGW parts. Churchmouse organizing and brain storming along with AllenM who donated the machine work and Cerakoting of this beauty. The Vortex Venom was donated by Allen Alcorn A&A Optics and grips from 88E30M50. Engraved by Wendell with Indy Engraving. I did the polishing internals and installed the CGW parts. BA and I will be testing soon:rockwoot: Forgive me if I left anything out!

That is gonna look so cool laying beside my 85B. Good job people. It just needs a little more engraving done to finish it off. :):

The first target is making adjustments to the Venom. I made a few minor adjustments after target 2 then just had fun with it. The 6th target shot at 10 yards all others 7 yards. The next range trip we will get it
    dialed in a little better![IMG]http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg249/llh1956/20170620_184812_zpsrdxqrcjx.jpg[/IMG]

Is this a single-action trigger by any chance? I installed it and reassembled the gun and there's no DA.

Edit: I am a miserable tinker of guns... Have DA/SA, just need to tweak. A lot.

    Morning folks! :coffee:

Have fun Tom. Take a couple of CZs along and let the uninitiated feel what a really good pistol feels like.

I'm taking the matte stainless 75B, my Legion, Victory and Canik. I figure those will be good enough to showcase some nice weapons without getting into the jaw dropping territory like the 75 compact SAO and the Loaded ;)
