I've been deep in thought about where my collection is headed... Not making any moves until I think about it for a couple days. Maybe picking up my lowers will change my mind completely...

The ingo lowers should be close.
I have a few AR's that are not really "Needed" I just went on a bonzo AR build spree.
There will be decisions made soon. My M1-A is leaving soon and one of the Springer RO's will be gone on Wed.
The funds will finish the home improvement project that has gotten a bit out of hand. We dropped north of $800 on "Paint" and supplys in the last 2 days.
Sure will be brite and fresh around here soon.....:):

I spent the night tuning a spreadsheet with all of the guns in the collection. I ranked everything by fun to shoot factor, utility and investment value. For utility, I added points if it's a carry gun, has night sights, a good holster, capacity, concealability and a couple of other things. For investment value, I ranked everything in terms of a scale of 1 to 10. 5 is something that would hold it's value and one was something I'd almost have to give away. 10 would be something that's going to climb in value over the years.

After all of that and adding up the score, I came away not trusting numbers. The Ed Brown scored well and the Witness in 10mm scored pretty low. The Ed Brown got points for having more utility, good leather available, and night sights but it still spends the bulk of it's time in the safe. The Witness scored well in the fun factor, but lower in utility since it does not have night sights, good leather, any investment value and being heavy for carry.

    Numbers suck!
