Seen the pulmonary specialist, and I'm on my way to getting better.
I had a choice of hospital stay until better, or home, and listen to Dr orders, use nebulizer, and meds until my lungs calm down.

    I choose home.
It's going to be awhile to get over this, but he said it's definitely fixable. Said I'll be on my feet, and going once I get through this rough spot.

So good news is I'll be on the go again no permanent damage. Bad news it's not going to happen right away.

Appreciate all the prayers sent my way.

Take care and follow the doctors orders. They are what are called professionals. Unlike me…

Glad you can rehab at home!

Picked up a broken older model Rossi Puma in 357. Inconsistent hits on primers, so after disassembly I noted that the firing pin was binding in the bolt. Bent 25 thousandths out of round so ordered a new one which should solve it. Nice rifle, when it did fire it was spot on for accuracy and smooth operating.

The older versions of these guns were just copies of the Winchester 1892, but as time and importers changed various unneeded over engineered safety stuff was added. I've got lots of 357 brass so I'm looking forward to some range time comparing it to it's ancestor the Winchester 1892 in 32-20.

    Morning folks! :coffee:

Just a PSA to those that carry the plastic fantastic P10 and P07s. Add a touch of lube to the mag release spring during these hot, sweaty summer days. That tiny spring can be overlooked and if sweat soaked, will rust up and jam quite fast. You'll press it in to the drop and mag and it will stay pressed in. It's an easy fix, but takes a parts order to replace the spring. Let it go too long and you can find yourself needing to replace the mag catch, which can be tough to find on some models no longer in production.

All of that can be avoided with just a drop of lube into the mag catch area once in a while.

I'm glad to hear that there's a good path forward for you. Here's to hoping that you are back to your normal self as quickly as possible.

Back to watering the geo field this morning. Probably need to do that for the next two days.
My grass is asking for water but, on the plus side, it seems like a couple fungicide treatments this summer and now this dry spell seems to have knocked out a case of brown patch (or something similar).

Gardener unhappy about using the water on the geo field, but I said it was cheaper than calling for repairs where we would likely be told just to water the field. This is one of those problems that manufacturers never catch.
