    Does the river flood your drive enough to restrict ingress/egress?
    No, I'm high enough that the road in is clear. Below me is a different ballgame. The water is still on the road at the end of road. At its max this time a few peeps had to boat in to their homes.

    I considered (and should have gone with) a fixed power scope and a small red dot mounted at 45 degrees.

    Interesting the parallax is 136 yards. The Trijicon 1-8 accupower is 100.

    Oh...back from the neighbors...not the river.

    NOW I understand it.

    I do better with pictures - less room for interpretation.
    Sorry I didn't get any pics this time, I was busy helping neighbors get their mowers, boats, cars, and belongings to high ground. I live below the entrance road inlet but higher than the low road in the middle of the hill. If my basement would have water in it the Lafayette courthouse would be flooded. Pretty safe here.
