Me and the Mrs took a pleasant 3.5 mile walk through downtown Carmel today. Enjoyed Artomobilia which, as always, had something for everyone.

That's some good stuff, Norm !
As you know, it was a beautiful day to be out and about.

My daughter and I hungout with the mansion owners who frequent Holiday Park. Actually, neither of us had ever been there, and we don't know mansion owners. :D

Interesting statuary and architecture, and nicely kept greenry.

Been there many, many times. Nice park and a great day to be out almost anywhere.

I saw a couple cars I could see you styling around town in too!

Was fairly ok last evening and first thing this morning, but it's really blocking my right eye vision this morning. Hoping this lets up soon.
Got into optometrist who then referred me to a retina specialist who got me in on an emergency basis.

Just left there. Lots of blood in the back of the eye due to vitreous detachment but my retina is not detached.

She could not see through the blood well enough (even with ultrasound) to definitively say no retinal tear.

She said the blood should hopefully get reabsorbed (think like a bruise she said).

They will get me in on Monday hopefully for a follow up to see if there is a retinal tear (hopefully blood out of the way enough by then). If there is a tear she said they can laser it.

So some good news and rest is wait until Monday for more.

Said to sleep with my head elevated.

Before we had our child, my wife and I lived in the area and went to Holliday park all the time, because it was a cheap thing to do. I walked those trails a lot with my camera to take pictures of the wild life. I have no idea where those pictures are these days. That was in the days of film, and no digital photography.

The park is very well maintained. It's a good photography destiination, with many potential subjects.
My daughter sent this collage from her phone ..... the only wildlife was me ! :)
