I had to step out of my usual car/motorcycle/gun wheelhouse.

I'm on the sound team at our church. The dimmer pack for our stage lights started making strange noises and overheating. The fans weren't turning, so i put two new fans in it and no problems this morning. Thankfully it worked out. $45 in parts.

After reading the Kimber review and the writer mentioning noticeably less recoil from the Wilson Combat EDC X9 and the Dan Wesson TCP, I looked up the weights for those.

Kimber KDS9 - 27 oz
WC EDC X9 - 28 oz
Dan Wesson TCP - 32 oz

I expect the WC and DW are tuned better than the Kimber from the factory but there is a bit of weight difference with the DW.

My adult nephew really wants to get a Kimber KDS9 for his EDC ever since he handled one at the NRA convention. I’ve been trying to get him to consider CZ. He’s not sold yet but he hasn’t shot any CZs… yet.
